The position
We are currently looking for a Project Engineer for our team in Engineering Services at our HBK site based in Warwick, UK, supporting on projects big and small.
Our new Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting our customers and colleagues with measurement projects in the field of mechanical quantities such as strain, torque, force, displacement, acceleration and vibration. This is the perfect role for someone who wants a 50/50 theoretical and practical job.
Primary responsibilities
1. Your daily work includes:
2. Planning, instrumentation and reporting for measurement projects in the field, offshore and onshore
3. Supporting customers in the field of electrical measurement of mechanical quantities, software and hardware
4. Creating customer offers
5. Work close together with the Sales Team
6. Carring out calibration in the Field and Office
7. Reporting on trends and opportunities in the market that might influence HBK’s position
8. Support and promote Service Level Agreements
9. Respond quickly and efficiently to calls.
Professional qualifications
You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechatronics or similar.
Experience with measurements or instrumentation in Automotive, Defence&Aerospace, Energy(Wind, Oil&Gas) or Civil Engineering(bridges, buldings or tunnels).
