Senior Software Engineer (.NET)
Plymouth | Hybrid (2/3 days on-site per week) | Up to £50,000 per annum
We’re exclusively partnered with a leading technology organisation based in the Plymouth area, who are looking to onboard a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services and APIs.
You’ll be responsible for:
1. Developing backend services and REST APIs using C# and .NET Core
2. Writing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures
3. Owning backend architecture and coding standards
4. Collaborating with frontend and distributed engineering teams
5. Supporting cloud-ready services using containerisation and AKS
What we’re looking for:
6. Strong experience with C# and .NET Core
7. Solid SQL Server and performance optimisation skills
8. Experience with Entity Framework Core and/or Dapper
9. Background in API-driven or SaaS environments
10. Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes is desirable
