Please note this opportunity is being offered on a part time basis working 18.5 hours per week with a pro rata salary of up to £17,334 per annum.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver training throughout the North Essex area.
Adult Community Learning (ACL) is Essex County Council’s provider of lifelong learning opportunities for residents, helping them gain skills to progress in work, learning and life. The Vocational Trainer delivers engaging, high-quality teaching, training and assessment across a range of vocational areas and qualification levels, supporting learners to achieve recognised standards and positive progression outcomes.
The postholder will plan, deliver and assess learning in line with awarding body and quality assurance requirements, maintaining high expectations and inclusive approaches for all learners. They will draw upon sector-specific expertise to bring learning to life, using digital tools, practical demonstrations and real workplace examples. Teaching will be delivered across both Adult and Children’s care settings.

Please note that the job role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area. The post holder will need to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means.
