This role requires liaison with a number of different functions and so the ideal candidate should feel comfortable talking to people on a variety of levels such as Project Managers, External Consultants, Finance specialists and senior management.
Ability to form good working relationships is key, as the Estates Projects team interacts with a number of departments to complete its work and the successful candidate will build on existing, and forge new, relationships in order to complete tasks assigned to them.
While not essential, a basic knowledge of construction or finance would be beneficial when dealing with queries
Key Accountabilities:
1. To act as single point of contact for all Freedom of Information Requests, responsible for collating information and drafting responses for Projects Lead within stipulated timescales.
2. To research background information on properties and the production of comparable evidence of value to assist with Capital Budget setting.
3. Be the main point of contact for Finance Business Intelligence Analyst on a wide variety of queries and analysis work. Highlight any Finance concerns to Projects Lead and Snr QS for resolution.
4. Liaise with Projects Managers to ensure recording of Project progress allows monthly accruals to be accurately recorded for Finance.
5. Liaise with Project Managers and Finance Business Partner to ensure all Projects are coded
6. correctly.

This is a full-time role offering 35 hours per week, the location of the role is flexible as the ideal candidate can work remotely, however some travel to our Dalmarnock offices in Glasgow may be required (meetings, training etc)
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months however there is the possibility of it being extended.
