About the Role
As a Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing vehicle or technology programmes from concept to delivery. You’ll lead the development and integration of customer-focused attributes, ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards of performance and reliability across global markets.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and validate engineering solutions, using a blend of virtual tools, physical testing, and data analysis. Your work will directly influence the customer experience and contribute to the long-term success of our vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage vehicle or technology projects across the full development lifecycle.
• Develop and execute detailed strategies and delivery plans using CAE, RLD, rig, and driven DV activities.
• Collaborate with system and component teams to define and maintain cascaded target requirements.
• Drive resolution of engineering challenges with internal teams and suppliers.
• Conduct benchmarking and research to identify best practices and future trends.
• Deliver technical recommendations, reports, and innovative solutions.
• Support programme teams in identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Share knowledge and foster innovation within a collaborative team environment.
What You’ll Bring

• Experience in engineering test activities and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, DoE).
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

• A relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Desirable Skills
• Knowledge of durability and strength principles.
