ADE Power Ltd is looking for a friendly, professional, and highly organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our visitors, clients, and staff. From greeting guests and managing calls to handling general enquiries and providing day to day administrative support, you'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly. We're looking for someone who can make an immediate impact in this 3-month fixed-term position, with a strong likelihood of becoming a permanent member of our team as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
* Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
* Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
* Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
* Assist with booking meeting rooms, arranging refreshments, and coordinating appointments.
* Provide general administrative support to the wider team, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
* Handle day to day queries in a polite, helpful, and efficient way.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role.
* Excellent communication skills, both face to face and over the phone.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
Working Hours
The working hours for this position are 37.5 hours per week, from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1:30pm on Friday. The business is closed for Bank Holidays, and we also enjoy a shutdown every Christmas until after the New Year.
