Zip World are seeking a commercially astute Front of House Manager to enable Zip World to achieve its core vision of creating extraordinary experiences by ensuring our customers are given the best possible experience. This role is responsible for the delivery of the Zip World customer journey, monitoring availability and occupancy of site adventures, and driving the non-adventure commercial performance of the site. You will do this by inspiring, motivating, and driving the front-of-house team forward in meeting the customers' expectations.
In this varied role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, offering a warm welcome, checking them into our adventures answering any questions guests may have and acting as a sales representative.

What will this role entail?
* Driving the business from the front in delivering an excellent customer journey
* Leading check-in and the retail department to operate smoothly in both peak and off-peak periods.
* Building a culture that is truly passionate about the needs of our customers.
* Till operation, cash handling, up-selling of products, restocking the retail area, maintaining displays, and general cleaning duties.
* Taking responsibility for visual presentation and cleanliness of the retail and reception areas.
* Taking responsibility for the daily operations of the Front of House team, developing your team through support and coaching
* Manage daily work schedules and rotas for the team in line with both business demands and budget whilst delivering a great guest experience.
* Maximize revenue by achieving, interpreting, and acting upon the weekly financial results.
* Recruiting, training, and motivating team members to meet the needs of the business.
* Acting on customer queries and feedback in the interest of the customer and the operation
* Achieve monthly and quarterly KPIs including wage ratio/cost of labour, sales revenue, and budgets meeting all financial and other agreed targets.
What will I need to be considered for this role?
* Experience working in a similar role/environment for a consumer brand, ideally within the tourism sector with great local knowledge.
* Genuine desire to deliver first-class customer service and have a passion for products.
* A dedicated and capable retail sales professional who is passionate about selling and has shown they can deliver high-performing sales figures.
* Ability to work well under pressure whilst prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
* Self-motivated shows initiative, confidence, and a strong team-player.
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to work weekends on a rota basis.
* Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels.
* Full clean driving license.
