KURY UK Ltd is part of an international company, Kury Groupe, 100% dedicated to the nuclear field with 23 years of experience in nuclear engineering.

Since then, we have been working with EDF (French Electricity Producer). We are involved in several nuclear projects, including FA3 EPR (France), the French fleet, Taishan EPR (China), Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.

We are now looking for engineers to join our Team in the UK. Our human-sized structure (100 employees worldwide) allows us to devote ourselves to mentoring and training our engineers. We take a special care of our employees’ development by ensuring them quality projects through which they will increase their skills.

SUITABLE CANDIDATE


You enjoy analysing concrete problems, finding solutions and then setting them up.

Getting involved in significant industrial and engineering projects involving very demanding precautions as regards industrial safety captivates you.

Your good analytical skills, sense of logic, aptitude for synthesising and your scientific knowledge will allow you to adapt quickly to multi-system environments.

You have the ability to adapt to new technical problems. You know how to manage a small-sized team.


You like the idea of working on Projects and Quality matters to you.

THE ROLE


As a Diverse Electrical Equipment engineer, you will be in charge of the following activities:


* Manage the layout interface of small power electrical equipment.
* Contribute to delivering to the client the design of local cable trays.
* Ensure the technical management of the supplier and support the Client in its contractual relationship with the supplier during the contract execution phase (in particular with regard to compliance with the schedule, costs, and scope of supply and studies).
* Review of supplier documents according to technical referential in time with a good level of quality and coordinate the documentary review of the various contributors.
* Produce comment sheets via dedicated tool to the supplier and organise clarification with supplier if needed.
* Manage modifications on the contracts to inform supplier via CTS (Contract Transfer Sheet) sent to the Client via dedicated tools.
* Manage all modifications, technical issues or non-conformities coming from site activities.
* Ensure the management of risks, opportunities, open points and modifications of its contract with the Client.
* Manage the interfaces with all client disciplines involved in providing the input data relevant to the electrical contract.
* Manage the interfaces including qualification’s part performed in France.
* Follow up on all the Delivery To Site dates for the equipment.


During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics. Your understanding of the technical and environmental challenges will allow you to take on complex and critical transversal studies.



REQUIRED SKILLS


* Knowledge or relevant experience in the nuclear field.
* Knowledge of the processes involved in industrial projects in the energy field.
* Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909).
* Experience in Electrical and Layout technical reviews.
* Ability to learn, prioritise and manage numerous tasks.
* French-speaking would be an advantage.
