Capgemini Engineering are looking to recruit Stress Engineers with knowledge of non-conformance within an aerospace/marine engineering background.
Your Role
* Assessing impact of non-conformance on component suitability and system performance
* Sentence concessions or repairs with justified engineering statements
* Perform hand calculations and FE analysis
* Assess engineering drawings and follow procedures
* Liaise with specialists and design for manufacture
* Perform various analyses (static stress, fatigue, life assessments, etc.)
* Assess repair and concession activities
* Present and report findings internally and externally
* Maintain relationships with clients and represent team in meetings
Skills and Experience
* Degree in engineering or scientific discipline, ideally mechanical
* Experience in stress engineering for aerospace systems
* Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes
* Experience with manufacturing, producibility, and concessions
* Ability to work accurately under deadlines
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
