About the role
Join Cygnet Kenney House as an Admin Manager in our flagship female Acute/PICU & Mental Health Rehabilitation service. The role is full‑time (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm) and involves leading the on‑site administration team.
We are looking for an organised and motivated administrator with a passion for making a difference to others. The successful applicant will work closely with the Hospital Manager, overseeing all aspects of the department’s administration and ensuring smooth operation of our acute and mental health services.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and manage the Hospital Manager’s diary, arranging meetings and room bookings on site.
* Oversee aspects of the administration budget.
* Line‑manage the administration staff and handle all personnel aspects for the department.
* Ensure all personnel/recruitment filing and database systems are accurately maintained and audited.
* Monitor staff performance in accordance with the Cygnet Procedures for Annual Performance Review.
* Provide regular supervision to the administration team.

Qualifications
* Previous experience in a manager/team‑leader role within an admin department.
* Administrator with experience in healthcare and knowledge of mental health.
* Flexible, organised and able to prioritise workloads, solve problems and make decisions.
* Calm under pressure and able to work independently.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Highly proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Windows and the internet.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
