Overview
The Client supplies infotainment and other vehicle components to OEMs worldwide. The Sales Administrator will play a key role in managing pre-production orders, coordinating purchase/sales orders and logistics, and maintaining strong communication between OEMs, headquarters, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive and process sample orders via customer portals.
* Support the coordination and management of line trials with customers.
* Communicate with customers regarding orders, reporting delays, and arranging deliveries/collections.
* Liaise with warehouse teams on inbound shipments to ensure timely booking, preparation, and dispatch.
* Collaborate with HQ on new orders and prepare shipments for customer delivery.
* Manage purchase and sales orders from initiation to completion.
* Oversee logistics processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
* Drive improvements in customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
* Bridge time-zone communication gaps between European and global HQs (Germany, South Korea), OEMs, and production sites.
Experience & Qualifications
* Proven experience in Sales Operations, including knowledge of Incoterms, JIT business models, and international customs.
* Background in new project setup within the automotive sector, ideally with Tier 1 suppliers.
* Direct B2B sales experience.
* Academic degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Skills & Competencies
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
* Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in multicultural, international teams.
* Flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel when required.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £14.00-£22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
