A high-growth, mission-driven cybersecurity scale-up are looking for a Head of QA to elevate quality from a process to a culture — embedding automation, consistency, and collaboration across all products and teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead the QA transformation strategy across web, desktop, and mobile security products
* Embed automation-first principles into the secure development lifecycle
* Build scalable frameworks and test architectures for complex, multi-platform environments
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability, visibility, and release confidence
* Define and track key quality metrics including automation coverage, defect escape rate, and release stability
* Coach and scale a high-performing QA team while fostering a culture of shared quality ownership
* Drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Product, and Security teams
* Champion modern tooling, continuous improvement, and data-led decision-making to reduce risk and accelerate delivery
What You Bring
* Proven leadership in QA within high-growth or cybersecurity-focused environments
* Strong hands-on expertise in automation framework design, CI/CD integration, and test reliability
* Advanced programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
* Experience leading QA across multi-platform stacks (web, desktop, mobile)
* Track record of mentoring and scaling QA teams while embedding a culture of ownership and accountability
* Strategic mindset with the ability to balance speed, risk, and user trust
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Familiarity with performance testing, observability, and modern QA tooling
* Passion for building secure, seamless user experiences that earn customer confidence
