Requirements
* 3 years’ experience as an Event Manager in a position used to providing catering for 100+ covers
* A strong and friendly personality that everyone gets on with
* Have an eye for detail and an analytical mind
* Express a warm and friendly disposition
* Able to manage a team
* Well turned out with a professional appearance
* Knowledge and experience using a CRM system preferred
* A good communicator
* Good knowledge of on-trend menus, dishes, food trends, wines and drinks
* Must be able to stand for long period of time, 8 - 12 hours
* Own transport is essential due to the location
* Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK
Responsibilities
* Understanding of the administration systems and use these in line with accepted company policy
* Train, brief and delegate the service teams
* Fully conversant with our brochure offers and able to relay its content and virtues in a professional and sales orientated capacity
* Able to work closely with our clients to ascertain their individual needs and effectively document the outcome in line with company administration policy
* Provide excellent dining room service in an efficient but warm manner 48 times a year
* Be a direct link between the venue’s sales team and the catering team, through the General Manager and the central management team
* Deputise for the General Manager
* Look for ways to meet individual client needs and to exceed guest expectation
* Billing, invoicing and ability to assess financial performance
* Some facility management tasks
Hours
* Based on a 5-day week, but this fluctuates given the needs of the business
* Working an office day normally between 8.00am-4.00pm (actual times subject to change)
* Service direction and management at 48 events per year
