The post holder will deliver and facilitate meaningful activity for inpatients within the adult mental health wards at Murray Royal Hospital on an individual or group basis, within the hospital setting and in the community. The post holders will work to support high quality care that recognises the importance of everyday meaningful interaction or engagement has on individual health and wellbeing. The Healthcare Support Worker will actively work to enhance person-centred care within the clinical areas, supporting ongoing developing practice within NHS Tayside in line with national guidance and local policy, e.g. Improving Observation Practice.
