Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of Year 5 students and align with the National Curriculum. Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and setting clear learning targets. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures a love for learning. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum and share best practices. Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, providing updates on pupil progress and addressing any concerns. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
