We’re looking for a talented Treasury Accounting professional to join our specialist Group Treasury team. Reporting to the Head of Treasury – Accounting, this role offers the opportunity to shape high‑quality financial reporting, lead on financial instruments accounting, support our Treasury Management Systems, and collaborate closely with both Treasury and wider Finance stakeholders. Lead Treasury inputs into budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning, providing clear, insightful commentary on key movements and drivers. Own the full hedge accounting lifecycle under IFRS 9, including designation, documentation, effectiveness testing, and ongoing monitoring. Perform technical accounting assessments for complex treasury transactions, preparing robust judgement papers to support audit. Partner with FP&A and Finance teams to deliver insight on financing costs, market movements, and treasury impacts on plans and forecasts. Lead the preparation and review of year‑end Treasury disclosures, including financial instruments and risk disclosures under IFRS 7. Strengthen treasury reporting controls, maintaining a robust control framework and addressing any control gaps proactively. Build strong working relationships across Group Finance, Finance Change, Treasury, and external auditors. Use ERP & EPM systems for journal processing, reconciliations, and treasury reporting. A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). Experience in treasury accounting and financial instruments (desirable). Practical experience working with ERP systems. Strong experience in year‑end financial statements, disclosures, and working with external auditors on IFRS matters. Expertise in control & compliance, IFRS application, and ERP/TMS systems. Strong skills in big‑picture thinking, communication, analysis & insight, and use of ETL tools.
