You’ll be working as part of the National Trust Specialist Delivery Team in our London & South East region – a multidisciplinary team of flexible and deployable experts with specialist skills and experience in every field of our work. Our purpose is to deliver the Trust’s Strategy by providing expertise to properties and collaborating to make things happen. As this role covers the London & South East region, your contractual place of work will be the nearest National Trust consultancy office to your home. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We’ll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40–60% of your working week. You’ll benefit from and play an active part in the Trust’s wider project management community - a network of sharing best practice and mentoring, as well as technical support and development.As the Project Manager for our NLHF project, you’ll manage the critical path to complete the Development Phase within the terms of the grant. Working with the Grants Specialist, you will submit the Delivery Phase application, securing the following outcomes for Scotney and its audiences: Improve access to local heritage and green space Preserve significant features of the Grade I listed landscape that are at risk Protect the environment by creating a 0.6-acre orchard and climate resilient planting Diversify audiences by delivering meaningful experiences to address social need Strengthen organisational sustainability by improving the visitor experience through a new welcome hub, signage and interpretation. To do this, you’ll be responsible for line managing the Senior Community, Participation and Volunteering Coordinator and the Senior Project Coordinator who are based at Scotney. You’ll work closely with the Senior Project Manager, and you’ll coordinate with a team of inspiring specialists ranging from curation to community, as well as managing external consultants. You’ll develop and sustain relationships with partners and the community, and you’ll need to work closely with the General Manager as client and the Scotney team to ensure all necessary preparations are in place for a successful funding bid and project delivery.The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
