As an Audit Assistant, you’ll work closely with Seniors, Managers and Partners, gaining exposure to a variety of work and clients across different industries. This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to audits from planning through to completion, helping clients achieve clarity and confidence in their financial statements. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with audits from planning to completion for a portfolio of clients Preparing audit schedules and working papers Reviewing financial statements and highlighting key findings to Managers Supporting Managers and Seniors with client queries and audit deliverables Building relationships with clients and understanding their business needs Contributing to continuous improvement of audit processes What we’re looking for: ACA / ACCA part-qualified, or studying towards a professional accounting qualification Previous experience in an accountancy practice, ideally in audit Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident using Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach If you’re looking for a role where you can gain broad audit experience, take on responsibility early, and work with a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
