Job Title: Digital Radio Engineer (DMR)Location: Oldham / Northern RegionEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentRecruiter: Meridian Business SupportOverviewMeridian Business Support is recruiting for an experienced and motivated DMR Radio Engineer to join a growing technical team working across the Northern region (Supporting their Head Office in Hampshire).This role supports a diverse customer base, providing delivery, installation, maintenance, and technical support for communication, security, and technology systems.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, varied environments, and involvement in high-profile events and projects.What Youll Do
* Install, commission & maintain equipment
* Provide remote & onsite technical support
* Complete surveys, reports & documentation
* Support events (some weekend work)
* Join a 24/7 call-out rota
What Youll Need
* Strong technical mindset & customer focus
* Valid UK driving licence
* Basic IT networking knowledge (desirable)
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Essential: Strong working knowledge of Motorola Digital Mobile Radio (DMR)
* Desirable: Experience with Hytera, Icom, Kirisun and/or Caltta radio systems.
* Flexible with travel & occasional overnight stays
Salary & Benefits
* £35,000£40,000 DOE
