Job DescriptionPeople & Culture Officer- Hybrid | Oxford-based HQ- 3 Days a week (2 On site/ 1 remote)- Permanent | Part-time- £35,000 – £40,000 pro-rata (DOE)- Start: Ideally July 2025We are supporting a mission led business find their first People & Culture Officer to join the hybrid-working team based near Oxford. Looking to shape a growing organisation’s people-first culture? This is your chance to step into a key HR role that balances strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (and close cooperation with the Head of Finance and Central Operations), you’ll take ownership of all things HR across the organisation. From recruitment and employee engagement to policy development and HR systems, your work will make a real impact on people and culture as the team continues to grow.Essential:- Minimum of three years’ experience in a HR Officer role in a high growth organisation preferably in the scientificor charity sector.- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.- Strong data and analysis skills.- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work well with others.- Ability to monitor your own performance.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Discretion and the ability to safeguard confidential information.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.- Collaborate closely with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and achieve organisational goals.- Passionate about building a strong company culture.- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, in a related field or equivalent and/or CIPDLevel 5 or above.Desirable:- CIPD Level 7- Proficiency in HR software and aptitude to learn new systems.- Experience of implementing an HRIS and/or ATS.- Experience working in/with the charity sector.- Business management skills.- Experience of rolling out strategies for enhancing employee satisfaction and retention.This is a hybrid role – two days a week in-office (Oxford area) and one day remote.You’ll be working 3 flexible days per week
