Job Description
NECSWS has an excellent opportunity for a Presales professional. We are looking for a candidate with specific knowledge of the Public Safety sector, covering areas such as Police, Fire, Ambulance, or Transport.
An essential requirement is experience in product demonstrations and tender responses.
Main responsibilities:
The candidate will join the Safety pre-sales team with the following key responsibilities:
1. Assist the sales team with the production of bid responses, working with product, development, and portfolio teams as required.
2. Configure, build, and demonstrate NEC Safety products.
3. Interpret demonstration scenarios received from customers to design product configurations for demonstration purposes.
4. Demonstrate the overview and detailed functionality of the NEC Safety portfolio to support new business and account management presentations.
5. Serve as a subject matter expert for product questions during the sales process.
6. Maintain a good understanding of associated Safety product offerings such as control rooms, operational policing, evidence management, biometrics, and managed services.
Qualifications
Essential Skills/Experience:
* Hands-on presales experience or proven presentation capabilities, gained in the private sector with public sector customers or within public sector organizations.
* Good knowledge of the Safety business arena.
* Experience with Control Rooms, Operational Policing, Evidence Management/Data Analytics, or Managed Services.
Ideally, you will have:
* Knowledge and experience of the Public Safety market.
* Understanding of customer requirements in the Public Safety marketplace.
* Government security clearance.
* Understanding of the Government & Safety environment and its drivers.
* Awareness of current market competition.
* Ability to interact effectively with high-level managers and senior officers.
* Focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
* Ability to deliver high-quality, complex demonstrations under tight deadlines.
* Support capability for proposal writing and post-demonstration follow-up.
* Act as an ambassador for NEC capabilities internally and externally.
Personal Skills:
* Self-reliant with strong teamwork skills.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Strong written skills, especially in bid responses.
* Ability to build relationships within the organization.
* Effective time management and resource planning.
* Willingness to travel and hold a valid UK/EC driving license.
