What's involved with this role: JOB TITLE: Business Support Admin Officer - Property and Land Charges REF: Bournemouth 5272547 Pay rate: £13.26 per hour PAYE Working Arrangement: This is a remote working role, however it does require onsite training initially in the office in Bournemouth town centre. The role: On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Business Support Admin Officer to work within the Property and Land Charges Key Responsibilities: Assist in the maintenance of the Register of Local Land Charges Process local property search requests Check, input, and plot search data, including handling associated payments Respond to customer enquiries via email and telephone in a timely and professional manner Collate and check detailed information provided by other service units to ensure accurate search results Update Local Land Charges system with new developments and changes What the client is looking for: Previous experience in administrative support, ideally within a local government or property-related environment. Familiarity with document handling, record-keeping, and system updates. A good understanding of Local Land Charges processes and property search procedures, including data input, verification, and mapping/plotting. High level of accuracy when checking, inputting, and collating data to ensure reliable and precise search results. Competent in using office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) and specialised databases or land/property systems. Comfortable updating records and managing digital workflows. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a clear, courteous, and professional manner. Experience working across departments or service units to gather and verify information, ensuring consistency and accuracy of data. A proactive and approachable manner when dealing with public or internal stakeholders, providing prompt and helpful responses. Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple enquiries or requests in a fast-paced environment. How to Apply Quote the Job Title and Reference Number in your application.
