Job Mission
New Balance is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Global Ecommerce, sitting on our Global Direct to Consumer Team. This individual is responsible for delivering our commercial and consumer experience goals across newbalance.com globally.
Our Global Ecommerce business is growing aggressively – we’ve doubled revenue in the last five years and are aiming to do it again over the next five years. We are also elevating our Global Brand Standards and site experiences to meet the evolving needs of our Global Independent consumer. We need a Global Leader to drive this change and achieve our ambitious business goals. This role is based at New Balance headquarters in the Boston area.
This individual will work closely with the following Global Partners:
* Digital Product Team
* Site Merchandising
* Global Marketing
They will also collaborate with our five Regional Ecommerce Leaders and their teams – NA, EMEA, APAC, Japan, and China.
Major Accountabilities
This individual will lead our Global Ecommerce Business Operations and Site Operations Teams to achieve these goals.
Business Operations
This team delivers the commercial goals of newbalance.com globally by leading strategic planning, global coordination, and data analytics.
Strategic Planning
Define short-term and long-term priorities aligned with New Balance’s Long Range Plan and Brand priorities, grounded in site data, consumer insights, and industry trends.
Global Coordination & Communication
Create a highly coordinated collaboration model with regional teams to identify and act on business opportunities in real-time.
Data & Analytics
Develop dashboards and conduct analyses on site and business performance using tools like PowerBI, Google Analytics, and other platforms.
Site Operations
Drive the execution of brand-led ecommerce strategies, maximize the use of our global tech stack, and ensure quality execution of ecommerce fundamentals.
Execution of Brand Led Ecomm Strategies
Partner with Site Merchandising and Digital Product to create site playbooks and implement strategies across all regional sites.
Maximize Usage of Global Tech Stack
Collaborate with Digital Product team and vendors to utilize our technology fully, sharing best practices across regions.
Quality Execution of Fundamentals
Optimize ecommerce processes to enhance operational efficiency and consumer experience.
Requirements for Success
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
* 10-15 years in ecommerce strategy and operations
* Strong analytical skills; proficiency in PowerBI and data analytics tools
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global environment
* Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for digital transformation
* Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
* Comfortable analyzing financial data and statements
