About Us
At Fosterplus, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional care since 1996. With 25 years of experience as an independent fostering agency, we understand the importance of continuity for the children and young people we serve.
Many of the children in our care have faced disrupted childhoods, and our mission is to break this cycle by creating stable, nurturing environments. We carefully match foster parents with children and provide ongoing support to ensure successful placements.
Our commitment is clear: to provide positive and stable family environments where children can thrive emotionally and academically.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. You will work collaboratively with foster parents to promote meaningful supervision of placements.
Key Requirements:
* Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent
* Previous experience in children and families social work
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services
* Good IT skills
* Flexibility in working patterns and travel
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for high-level supervision
* Regularly supervising allocated foster parents, monitoring their practice and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
* Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes
The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS Check, which will be covered by Fosterplus.
