Financial Divisions is partnering with an established Tax and Investments Consultancy with offices near Hemel Hempstead to support the recruitment of a Tax Consultant/ Tax Manager. This firm is dedicated to supporting their clients by providing comprehensive business advisory services; their ethos revolves around working in partnership to nurture enduring relationships, allowing them to understand their clients' goals and support their day-to-day actives as well as supporting their future aspirations.Tax Manager role:
* Managing a portfolio of clients and providing any tax advice and support required.
* Undertaking tax Returns, CGT returns, and dealing with residency queries.
* HMRC letting campaign responses and negotiations.
* Contributing to the development of the portfolio, dealing with new client's enquiries.
* Supporting and managing the team.
Suitable Candidate for the Tax Manager
* Previous experience within a management capacity within tax.
* Professionally qualified or holds the relevant experience to undertake the role
* Experience of trusts and Corporation tax an advantage but not a prerequisite.
* manage the day-to-day compliance for 200 HNW individuals
* Also deal with trust work including accounts, administration, and trust tax work.
* Get involved in a wide range of advisory work including residence and domicile advice, IHT and CGT advice.
* Assist the investment team with advice on tax.
* Liaise with HMRC, clients and third-party advisors.
* Has a desire to support clients business activities alongside developing new client relationships.
* Experience of managing a portfolio and deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - Tax Manager
Essential:
• Relevant experience working with private fund structures and overseeing tax compliance reporting on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Project management and implementation of tax related processes for new products.
• Professional Tax Qualification (e.g. CPA, ACA, CTA)
• Experience working in a Financial Services tax role
