Job Title: Traffic Marshall
Location: Canterbury, United Kingdom
We are currently seeking a skilled and certified Traffic Marshall to join our client's team in Canterbury. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles on our client's construction sites, while also controlling site access and maintaining a secure working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Directing traffic on site to ensure smooth movement and safety of all vehicles.
2. Manning gates and controlling access to the construction site.
3. Banking the telehandler when operating in occupied zones, ensuring safe maneuvering.
4. Assisting in maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
5. Communicating effectively with team members and site visitors to ensure awareness of traffic and safety procedures.
Requirements:
6. Valid Traffic Marshall ticket.
7. CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
8. Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
9. Strong understanding of traffic management principles and regulations.
10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
11. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
12. Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
