Job Details: Salary Range: £31,067 - £32,654 per annum Work Location: Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service HQ, Eastleigh Hours per week: 37 Contract Type: Permanent Closing Date: 22 June 2025 Interview Date: w/c 30 June 2025 As part of the on-going evolution of supporting ICT systems and services throughout Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, we are seeking a new Data Technician to help with on-boarding new systems and supporting our current suite of applications. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to work with expanding our range of services, supporting our teams and providing excellent service to support our departmental values. You will be competent in a range of ICT applications. You will be comfortable working with all levels throughout the organisation, as well as representing Hampshire at regional and national meetings. This role allows you to use your initiative to come up with innovative and new ideas to support the changing ways we work while still meeting the objectives set out. You will quickly become a subject matter expert in the systems you support and due to the constantly changing environment the fire service operates in, you can expect to work with a wide and varied workforce, including working in areas where Hampshire is leading the way with new technology.
