Job Title: Procurement Engineer
Location: Staffordshire (with supplier travel – 90% UK / 10% international)

We’re working with a highly respected engineering business based in Staffordshire to recruit a Procurement Engineer for a brand new role within their operations team. This is a rare opportunity to shape and influence supplier engagement from day one, acting as the key technical interface between internal engineering and the external supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the technical link between engineering teams and suppliers to ensure component manufacturability and compliance with design and quality requirements.
2. Conduct regular supplier visits across the UK (and occasionally Europe) to support technical issue resolution, process improvements, and performance management.
3. Work closely with Quality to lead root cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement at supplier sites.
