Job Opportunity: Project Administrator
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing organization based in Exeter. This is a permanent role ideally suited for an experienced administrator seeking their next challenge in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The role primarily involves supporting project managers, project coordinators, and the coordination team throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases of projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and control versions of drawings, technical information, and correspondence between project teams and external parties/clients for project technical submissions.
2. Ensure drawings and Pi system files are accurate and correlate properly.
3. Review and coordinate incoming mail and emails, logging inquiries into systems and distributing information as necessary.
4. Update systems, databases, files, and planners in a timely manner, including uploading, downloading, and printing relevant documents and keeping records of inquiries and updates.
5. Perform general administrative duties to support the team.
6. Ensure all order numbers and call-offs are received, and verify invoice values and margins, particularly for small orders.
7. Procure materials and services from the UK supply chain and factories as required.
8. Quote and order replacement parts, glazing, and small supplies for live sites and handovers.
9. Assist with the procurement process for main projects in Pi, depending on development and skills.
10. Follow up with customers for final balance payments prior to delivery.
