Role and responsibilities – Day to day tasks including but not limited to
:
* Visit businesses/target clients by town/postcode
* Plan your time efficiently (organise best times to visit) so that you can visit businesses when owners/managers are available.
* Following the visit prepare summary of feedback points and details that we can discuss during our review.
* Work with the Sales team to create new promotions and deals and email campaigns relevant to customer type.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, distributors, and partnerships.
* Sell to OEM'S, Garages, National, semi national and independent Franchisees, end users, Motor factors
* Build and maintain strong relationships
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
* Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
* Stay updated with industry regulations, product knowledge, and market trends.
Required experience:
* Excellent communication and writing skills.
* Experience in a similar position, and past accomplishments in developing new business.
* Mature hands-on team player with strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
* Knowledge of the trade will be an asset, but not critical.
* Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence. Both target/customer oriented.
* The ability to work on your own initiative and effectively manage your own workload.
* Build and expand client relationships and meet sales targets.
* Highly organised, motivated, and adaptable.
* Ability to build a strong brand image and reputation.
* Work independently and within a team.
Requirements:
UK Based and authorized to work in UK
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
· In-depth knowledge of the lubricants industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
· Ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies.
· Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
· Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and driving growth.
· Willingness to travel as required.
