Overview

Job Title: Profit Protection Administrator

Department: Profit Protection

Reporting to: Profit Protection Manager

Location: Horsham

Contract: 37.5 hours

Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00-17:30

About the Role

The role involves data handling and administrative support within the Profit Protection team, with responsibilities spanning data entry, billing, customer and supplier liaison, and collaboration across internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial and operational data.


Responsibilities

* Data entry into the company’s billing system and ensure accuracy of input data.
* Ensure shipments are invoiced promptly via the Billing Module, including onboarding of new customers, services and carriers.
* Run credit reports on new and existing customers.
* liaise with suppliers and third parties to capture and record all data (including costs) correctly.
* Support management and assist with general administration duties.
* Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to investigate customer invoice queries and resolve issues promptly.
* Manage large volumes of information and process large datasets efficiently.
* Resolve discrepancies and obtain further information for incomplete service agreements and letters of variation (LOV).
* Update and distribute customer tariffs.
* Coordinate with internal and external parties and subcontractors to obtain data.
* Participate in group discussions and meetings.
* Assist with month-end deadlines, calculating manual charges and accounting provisions to support accurate financial reporting.
* Support development, testing and implementation to improve GFS systems and automated solutions.
* Quality check work competently.
* Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required.
