Your Role & Impact

* Perform planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on all production machinery and equipment.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
* Conduct routine inspections and servicing of plant machinery.
* Work closely with the production team to minimize equipment downtime and improve productivity.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and equipment efficiency.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
* Work as part of a team and liaise with external contractors when necessary.
* Work on automation systems including Siemens, Rockwell – Allen Bradley, GE, Mitsubishi, and Omron control systems.
* Perform system backups, SCADA, HMI & PLC modifications and integration, and system upgrades.
* Work on system controls and I/O’s across site instrumentation and fault finding.
* Maintain and troubleshoot inverters and 3-phase motors.
* Support the instrumentation of the tank farm.


Required skills and responsibilities

* Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Experience with PLC systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is desirable.
* A recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
* Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Flexibility to work shifts and respond to call-outs when required.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
