Carrick Nursery is seeking a passionate and dedicated Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Previous managerial experience is essential, with a commitment to continuing professional development.
This role requires a hands-on approach to nurturing children's development by ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children to flourish.
Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment and regularly monitoring the effective delivery of the service.
* Identifies staff training and development needs and ensures these needs are met.
* Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development in line with early years frameworks.
* Maintain effective communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of nursery staff.
* Ensure the nursery is well-resourced, safe, and clean at all times.
* Monitor children's progress through regular assessments and observations, adapting programmes as necessary.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in management within a childcare or nursery setting.
* BA Childhood Practice or equivalent
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
* Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
