About the Role
We're looking for a compassionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join a children's residential home. You'll lead and support a team of Residential Care Workers, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care for young people with complex needs. You'll also step in to manage the home when the Registered Manager is away.
What You'll Do
Lead, mentor, and develop your team
Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and case management
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive home environment
Communicate with families, local authorities, and other professionalsWhat You'll Need
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience in children's residential care with supervisory responsibilities
Knowledge of Quality Care Standards and Children's Homes Regulations
Calm, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with young peopleBenefits
