Position Overview
The Vertical Lift Supplier Management and Procurement team has an exciting position for Procurement Agent (Buyer) within our Aircraft support team.
Locations preferred: Gosport, Bristol; Other: Yeovil.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis minimum 3 days in office.
Position Responsibilities
* Negotiating contracts for products, services and technologies.
* Engaging stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
* Preparing and executing negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements, and optimizing execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand.
* Managing supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in service performance.
* Mitigating risks and issues, initiating supplier improvement activities and providing results for integration into contracting strategies.
* Performing continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
* Preparing and executing proprietary information agreements.
* Supporting sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting contracts and agreements.
* Communicating performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
* Tooling and Ground Support Equipment procurement experience (nice to have).
