We are looking for an individual who can support the Exams Officer in delivering a seamless, compliant, and stress-free assessment environment for hundreds of students. Core Responsibilities Operational Logistics: Assisting in the massive logistical undertaking of the summer and mock exam seasons—from the precise layout of desks in the Great Hall to the secure distribution of papers. JCQ Compliance: Ensuring every internal and external assessment strictly adheres to the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations, maintaining the absolute integrity of the examination process. Invigilation Coordination: Supporting the recruitment, training, and daily briefing of a team of external invigilators, ensuring they are vigilant, informed, and professional. Access Arrangements: Working closely with the SENDCo to ensure that students with additional needs receive their correct entitlements, such as extra time, laptops, or "rest breaks," without disruption. Data & Entry Management: Assisting with the accurate submission of candidate entries to various boards ( AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC ) and the meticulous handling of coursework and non-exam assessments (NEA). Results & Post-Results Support: Playing a key role during the August "Results Days," assisting with the download of data and supporting students and staff through the "clerical check" and "review of marking" processes.
