Job Title: Teacher of Art

Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging art lessons to students
* Develop and implement art curriculum in line with educational standards
* Assess and provide feedback on students' artistic progress
* Encourage creativity and self-expression through various art mediums
* Supervise and support students during practical art activities
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall art education programme
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable
* Degree in Art or relevant field
* Strong knowledge of art history and different art techniques
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
* Degree in Art or related field
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is desirable
Experience:
* Previous experience teaching art at secondary school level
* Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students in the subject
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of national curriculum requirements for art education
* Proficiency in using various art mediums and techniques
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional training or certifications in art education
* Experience with educational technology in art instruction
Working Conditions:
* Work in a classroom setting within a secondary school environment
* Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work for school events
* Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
