Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician - Toomebridge - Permanent
A leading manufacturer in the construction sector is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join its growing technical and design team. The successful candidate will produce precise construction and factory production drawings for a variety of precast concrete products, supporting projects from concept through to manufacture.

1. £27,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
2. Monday to Friday
3. 37 hours a week
4. Department:Technical / Design
5. Permanent role
What you'll be doing in this role:
6. Produce accurate 2D construction and production drawings using AutoCAD.
7. Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into manufacturing details.
8. Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure designs meet specification and industry standards.
9. Maintain and update drawing files in line with company procedures.
10. Liaise with production staff to ensure feasibility and clarity of designs before manufacture.
11. Resolve technical queries from factory and site teams.
12. Complete all work within agreed deadlines, ensuring high accuracy and quality.
13. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design processes.
What you'll need for this role:
14. Minimum 1 year’s experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within construction or manufacturing.
15. Solid understanding of construction and/or manufacturing processes.
16. Proficient in AutoCAD.
17. Strong communication and organisational skills.
18. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
19. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
