About the RE Teacher Role We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated RE Teacher to join our flourishing RE department. The successful RE Teacher candidate will have the opportunity to teach RE across Key Stages 3-5, inspiring students with engaging lessons and fostering their spiritual growth. Responsibilities of the RE Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and religious backgrounds. Create a respectful and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable to discuss religious ideas and beliefs. Teach a variety of religious traditions and worldviews, promoting understanding and tolerance. Encourage students to engage with RE in a meaningful way, developing their critical thinking and analytical skills. Assess and monitor student progress in RE, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and departmental resources. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of RE teaching. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in RE, Theology, or a related field. Experience teaching RE at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for RE.
