We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) to join our busy Theatre team. You will play a vital role in supporting the peri-operative environment, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care to patients. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and maintain flexibility to meet the demands of the service. A commitment to patient care, infection control, and confidentiality is essential.
From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata, with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Relevant experience as an HCSW or equivalent role within a theatre/peri-operative setting is desirable.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to patient care, infection control, and confidentiality.
* Understanding of the need to work within legal and regulatory requirements for employment in the UK.
Additional Information
Legislative changes from 1 April 2025 may require a different level of criminal records check. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme.
