Site Supervisor

Turner Lovell is recruiting for an engineering and solutions provider, specialising in delivering acoustic GRP enclosures and noise-reduction structures for major power and renewable energy infrastructure projects across the UK.
We are recruiting a Site Supervisor to oversee a subcontractor installation crew, ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality, while acting as the forward-facing representative to the client .
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work across a pipeline of high-profile energy projects, with immediate mobilisation on a transformer noise barrier project and future works on multiple other high-value infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate subcontractor installation activities on site.
Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, leading toolbox talks and conducting daily risk assessments.
Monitor work quality to ensure alignment with contractor and client standards.
Maintain accurate site documentation, including permits, inspection reports, ITPs, and RAMS
Represent the company in site meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Serve as the main point of contact for site operations, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Oversee resources, including materials, tools, and equipment, liaising with suppliers and hire companies as required.
Foster team engagement and motivation to maintain high performance and productivity.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience supervising construction or installation projects in power or renewable energy sectors.
Engineering qualification (Degree, HND, or equivalent).
SSSTS or SMSTS certification and CSCS card.
Practical experience in steel erection, cladding, or heavy installation works.
Strong understanding of RAMS, ITPs, SATs, and verification documentation.
Client-facing with excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
