Estimator – Architectural Steel

Permanent | Up to £55,000 DOE + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join a leading architectural steelwork company based in Kegworth. With a strong pipeline of commercial and public projects, this is a fantastic time to join a business delivering high-quality, precision-engineered architectural steelwork from concept through to fabrication and installation.
What you’ll do:
Prepare accurate estimates and quantity take-offs for architectural steel projects
Analyse drawings, specifications, and client requirements to produce competitive bids
Collaborate with design, project, and fabrication teams
Support project planning, budgeting, and cost tracking
Manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of estimates
(Optional) Provide input to senior management on cost-saving opportunities and project feasibility
You’ll need:
Proven experience as an Estimator in architectural or structural steelwork
Strong experience with quantity take-offs and project costing
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
