Supplier Quality Engineer (Contract) Location: Lincoln Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 6 - 12 months Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite Rate: £40.50 per hour (Umbrella) Role Overview We are recruiting a Supplier Quality Engineer to support Blades and Vanes within a small gas turbine environment. The role focuses on managing supplier quality issues, driving corrective actions, and supporting product and process qualification activities. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve non‑conformances, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement in a global supply chain environment. Key Responsibilities Manage supplier non‑conformances, including containment, RCA, and corrective actions Apply quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, RCA, and FMEA Monitor supplier quality performance and contribute to KPI reporting Support Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) activities Drive supplier improvement initiatives and risk mitigation actions Communicate quality risks and issues to internal stakeholders Skills & Experience Required Engineering or manufacturing background (degree or time‑served) Proven experience in Supplier Quality Engineering Strong understanding of inspection methods and GD&T Experience with ISO 9001 / QMS / Supplier Quality Management Strong Excel and data analysis skills Confident communicator, able to manage multiple issues in parallel Willingness to travel as required PPE Will be provided when needed on site RBoniface Since 1978, Rullion has been securing exceptional candidates for a range of clients; from large well-known brands, to SMEs and start-ups.
