Marketing Executive

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a leading construction company based in Co. Antrim to recruit a Marketing Executive to join the team and take responsibility for executing a variety of marketing activities in line with the marketing plan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic marketing plan to raise brand awareness through digital and traditional channels. You willl be responsible for content creation, maintaining brand consistency, managing events, and improving marketing efforts based on industry trends and data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver the strategic marketing plan
* Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing needs
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
* Report on marketing performance and suggest improvements
* Manage content creation for website and social media platforms, including Improving SEO and driving website traffic through targeted initiatives.
* Maintain brand consistency across all channels and materials.
* Coordinate with external agencies for branded materials and signage.
* Plan and manage internal and external events and represent the company at key functions.
* Produce newsletters and engage with local media for PR opportunities.
* Promote staff wellbeing and charity initiatives through marketing activities.
Essential Criteria:
* Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years in a B2B marketing role, ideally within the construction industry.
* Digital Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint), Mailchimp, Canva, Google Analytics, and content management tools.
* Social & Content: Strong knowledge of social media platforms and experience creating engaging, brand-aligned content and campaigns.
* Personal Attributes: Creative, detail-oriented, excellent communicator, with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
* Additional Requirements: Full UK driving licence, eligible to work in the UK, flexible and willing to travel to sites and events; video editing experience is a plus.
