Starting from February 2026 - July 2026
Pay - £85 - £92 per day
Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
Supply Desk are currently working with a large 3 form entry school based in the Fareham area who are seeking a committed KS2 Teaching Assistant to support them predominately in a Year 6 classroom. This school is Ofsted rated “Good” and has a warm and inclusive ethos that supports all children.
Job Description:
* Desire to work throughout Junior ages ranges (7-11 year olds)
* Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Spelling, Reading, Maths and Literacy
* ICT literate and able to support children with simple ICT tasks
* Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
o Location: Fareham
o Start Date: February 2026
o Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
o Hours: 08:30 -3:30 Monday – Friday
Individual Profile:
* A nurturing and caring nature
* GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
* Experience of working with children/young people preferably in a school setting
* Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
* Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
* First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
