We are seeking experienced Red Meat & Poultry Butcher / Caterer, to join us as we continue to strengthen and expand our business.
Working in a chilled environment boning, trimming and preparing red meat primal cuts and portioning / cutting to exact customer specifications (Beef, Pork, Lamb, Poultry).
Duties will include, but not limited to:
* Following the companys food safety culture through production and cleaning.
* Preparing meat to customer specification, including boning, trimming, tying, portioning to specification to make it easier for the customer.
* Portioning cutting Steaks and chops to exact customer weight specification.
* Maintaining personal hygiene, work rules including the clean as you go policy with clean workstations to reduce the risk of food contamination.
* Complying with PPE requirements and adhering to safety guidelines
* Maintaining batch coding and traceability with goods in process
* Storing meat and goods in the correct facilities and temperature-controlled areas.
* Fulfilment of orders.
* Ensuring waste is minimal and you work in a cost-efficient manner.
