Overview
Lead Social Worker role at Elysium Healthcare. Manage a caseload of service users with mental health conditions, lead the social work team, and promote adult safeguarding. Based at Victoria Gardens, a specialist rehabilitation facility in Huyton, Liverpool.
Job responsibilities
* Manage and support a caseload of service users with mental health conditions (up to a specified number).
* Carry out assessments, CPA reports, Mental Health Tribunals, and Managers Hearings.
* Supervise junior staff members and provide quality supervision and appraisal to the team.
* Lead and promote adult safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team and empower recovery to support service users in their care plans.
* Strengthen liaison with external agencies to fulfil statutory duties (e.g., MAPPA, Local Authority Social Services, CMHT, FIND, FOLS, Police, Probation).
* Support carers and families of detained patients.
Qualifications and experience
* Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
* Good working knowledge of relevant legislation.
* At least 3–4 years’ experience in a similar environment.

Location: Victoria Gardens, Huyton, Liverpool, L36 5SA. You will work at Victoria Gardens, a specialist rehabilitation service for service users with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. The service is recovery-based and uses a multidisciplinary team approach.
