The Role
Moonbug Entertainment is looking for a talented Senior Video Editor (GFX & Colour) to join the Post Production team at our London office, based in Camden.
This role sits within the Post Production department and focuses on finishing content to the highest technical and creative standards, with an emphasis on graphics, visual polish, colour grading, and final delivery across a wide range of kids’ content.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for online finishing and delivery of a broad range of content, including but not limited to:
Final online edits for:
1. Long-form episodes
2. Short-form episodes
3. Pilots
4. Trailers and promos
5. Highlight reels
Colour grading and colour correction to meet brand, broadcast, and platform specifications
Creating, integrating, and versioning graphics, including:
6. Titles and lower thirds
7. End cards and call-to-action graphics
8. Basic motion graphics and visual enhancements
9. Conforming projects from offline edits
10. Ensuring all content meets technical delivery specifications
11. Addressing notes related to picture, colour, and GFX
12. Managing day-to-day fixes and updates to catalogue content
13. Good understanding of technical workflows ; Including.
14. Encoding and transcoding
15. Video repairs and clean-up
16. Re-conforming archive content
17. Managing multiple localised deliverables
Requirements
The ideal candidate is technically excellent, detail-oriented, creatively driven, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Core skills include:
18. Online editing in After Effects – high competence
19. Colour grading in DaVinci Resolve or similar – high competence
20. After Effects for motion graphics and GFX – high competence
21. Premiere Pro offline editing experience – preferred
22. Photoshop for asset preparation – preferred
23. Strong understanding of broadcast and digital delivery standards
24. Experience working through creative briefs and notes from multiple partners
25. Excellent problem-solving skills related to post-production workflows and technical fixes
Desired Experience and Qualifications
26. Several years’ experience as an Online Editor / Finishing Editor / Colourist delivering projects from conform through final delivery
27. Strong expertise in:
28. Colour grading and colour management workflows
29. Matching shots across scenes and episodes
30. Applying VFX, clean-ups, transitions, and finishing touches
31. Experience working with complex timelines, including:
32. Multiple audio tracks
33. Music, SFX, and dialogue stems
34. Sync and conform accuracy
35. High attention to detail with proven experience in:
36. Ensuring content is technically compliant and error-free
37. Ability to enhance storytelling through visual polish, colour, and graphic design
38. Familiarity with children’s content and brand consistency across series
39. A team player with a good sense of humour and a strong desire to grow within a fast-paced, creative environment
