What you will be doing:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing of our Pensioners, including:
* Leading by example in delivering high-quality personal care
* Supporting and mentoring junior care staff
* Promoting dignity, independence, and individual choice
* Contributing to social activities and supporting the Activities Team
* Maintaining accurate care plan records
* Reporting on wellbeing and liaising with the wider care team
What We Are Looking For:
* Proven experience in a care setting, ideally with older people
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Experience or willingness to support medication administration
* Good literacy, numeracy, and basic IT skills
* Understanding of good care principles and CQC standards
* Commitment to working towards or holding a Care Certificate or equivalent
