About the Opportunity
* Project Scheduling: Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met
* Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively and efficiently to meet project demands and timelines
* Progress Monitoring: Tracking project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on schedule
* Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and potential risks
* Compliance: Ensuring all project activities comply with NEC contracts and other relevant regulations and standards
* Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with project schedules and resource allocation
* Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution
* Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and compliance records
Here's what you'll need
* Project Management: Proven experience in managing large-scale construction and civil infrastructure projects
* Primavera P6 Proficiency: Advanced knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management
* NEC Awareness: Strong understanding of NEC contracts and their application in construction projects
* DCO: Experience on Development Consent Order infrastructure projects a plus
* Analytical Skills: Strong problem‑solving skills to identify and address project issues
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
* Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project schedules and reports
* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive working relationships
* Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across the UK as needed
